This box was provided complimentary for review.

What is it? Project Candy Box
How much? $30/month, plus tax and $4.95 shipping. Prices in Canadian dollars.
What's in it? A surprise assortment of at least 10 different candy items

Project Candy Box is a Canadian candy subscription service that sends a monthly box of sweets from around the world. Each month you will receive an assortment of different candies and treats, tied together with a theme. Each box will include at least 10 different full size items!

Every month will be a different experience and a fun, new way to sample new treats. From sweet to sour, gummy to chocolate, old to new and near to far, our candy combinations have been carefully crafted to wow your taste buds.

Nice packaging!

The March box is "The International Candy Box". There's treats from Mexico, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Japan, and Philippines.

First look!

Cream Collon from Japan
These biscuits have a layer of waffle filled with a vanilla cream filling. I'm just glad the name is spelled with two L's instead of one!

Salsagheti from Mexico
This strange candy is a mix between salsa and spaghetti. It contains spicy, sweet and sour pieces of licorice with a hot liquid candy called Gusano. The liquid is a dipping sauce for the licorice. My boyfriend volunteered for this one and said it was awful. He couldn't get it out of his mouth fast enough.

Manita De La Suerta Lollipops from Mexico
No chili here. Just sweet strawberry and cherry flavours!

Caramel Waffles from The Netherlands
This flaky battered waffle has a cream caramel centre. This treat was delicious. I would love to have more!

Kranky Corn Flakes from Mexico
These chocolate covered corn flakes were not good. The chocolate was very chalky.

Dip Dab from the UK
This is similar to Fun Dip. It's fizzy powder candy with a strawberry flavour lolly.

XO Butter Caramel Candy from Philippines
Project Candy Box says these candies are "have a very smooth texture and rich flavor that is comparatively better than any normal caramel on the market". It's suggested that we taste this alongside a Werther's Original.

Yorkie Original from UK
This may be the last chocolate bar from Project Candy Box as they change their offerings during warmer weather. Thankfully it's a great bar.

Fresh & Fruity Kwasne from Poland
This is a big back of sour jellies. The outside is dusted with sour sugar and the inside has a liquid jelly centre. I have to admit, not my favourite.

Duvalin Frosting from Mexico
This is a chocolate and hazelnut spread, like Nutella. Eat it off a spoon or spread it on some cookies.

Fudgee Barr – Philippines
This cake bar has a fudgey centre. It reminded me a lot of a Duncan Hines Deep & Delicious cake, however the fudge centre was barely detectable. Not at all like the photo.

The March Project Candy Box included 12 full size candies from all over the world! International boxes like this are my favourite as we get to try new and exciting products. Some are hits and some are misses, but the experience is always a blast.
